Game of Thrones’ Gendry Baratheon Actor Thinks Cersei Lannister Must Be His Mother

Joe Dempsie, who is renowned for the role of Gendry Baratheon, thinks Cersei Lannister must be the character’s unknown mother. The actor looked pretty confident in his interview with NME and said that he might be the only biological child of Cersei and Robert and not the “bastard” that the show has shown him to be.

Dempsie gave his opinion on some of the loose ends that the show left, especially concerning Gendry’s mother, who wasn’t even mentioned in the final season.  The actor said that he has a theory that coincides with the popular fan-made theory which suggests that Gendry’s mother was none other than Cersei Lannister and he was the only biological child of Cersei and Robert Baratheon, which might, as some had already suggested in 2019, puts Gendry as the best candidate to sit on the Iron Throne ( more claim than Daenerys Targaryen and Lyanna Stark’s son Jon Snow).

Of course, it is pointless to talk about it now because Bran Stark was the one who sat on the Iron Throne- courtesy of Tyrion Lannister’s monologue.

Extrapolating further on his supposition, he said that in Season 1, we see a meeting between Ned Stark and Gendry, where Ned asks him about his parents, to which Gendry replies that though he does not remember his father, his “mother had yellow hair.” The moment he gave deep thought to that dialogue, he smelled foreshadowing.

“That’s too loaded a line not to mean anything,” He said.

The actor also talked about the controversial ending of Season 8 and the subsequent petition that demanded remaking of Season 8 with “competent creators.” Dempsie has objective thinking regarding that, as he said in the interview that no matter what the ending was, they were never going to please everybody. He exposited further on his chain of thought; he said that the very fact that there is a petition demanding the remaking of the show speaks for the fact on how huge the audience of the show had become.

It’s a very demanding job to please 60 million people, and no matter what David Benioff and D.B. Weiss had done, there would have been some who would not have liked the show. However, he was a little disappointed with the fact that some fans disregarded the season completely. It hurt him because he knew how hard everyone had worked on it. He added that though the reviews were difficult for him to take, he was skeptical of their belief that their demand for a remaking of the Season 8 will be met.

He wishes “good luck” to the fans who think they can get a Season 8 remake. He humorously asks them to accumulate $500 million for that purpose.

Fans were not at all pleased with the ending of the show, especially with the early death of the Night King. Most of them felt they were cheated on with all the foreshadowing in the beginning.

They are waiting for George R. R. Martin to finish the books and are hoping that he will fix the mistakes the show has made.

Joe Dempsie presently stars in the show “Adult Material,” which streams on AII4.

iPhones and iPads Won’t Support xCloud Xbox Game Streaming

With the release of Project xCloud, players will now be able to play Xbox games on their mobile phone or tablet directly from the cloud. However, there is a piece of sad news for iOS users.

A recent explanation by Apple suggests that Microsoft’s app streaming games will not be accessible on iPhones or iPads at least in the near future. According to the iPhone developers, “Gaming services can launch on the App Store as long as they follow the guidelines that are intended to protect customers and provide a safe platform for downloading apps.”

This is where the reason for an anticipated ban lies. Any app which goes on Apple’s App Store has to be submitted individually for review and appearing in charts and search.

Whereas, Apple has confirmed that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offers access to over 80 games which may not have been through the usual App Store approval policy. Hence, the ban.

So, is there a possibility of xCloud landing on iOS anytime soon? It might because each game would need to be re-submitted for additional review and approval by Apple and its strict policies.  However, this requirement by Apple does not seem to be encouraging for Google and Microsoft’s iOS launch plans.

For Android users, the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is set to arrive in the UK, US, and 20 other countries on September 15 at the price of $14.99 per month.

Microsoft has worked around the hardware limitations and will allow the games to run remotely in the cloud by streaming the gameplay to the mobile devices.

Further, it is not just Microsoft and Apple, who found themselves in odd situations. Google found itself struggling with Apple’s policies as well. As a result, its Stadia App is available on the Play Store but not App Store.

Again, like Microsoft’s new system, Google also offers access to a selection of games without getting them approved individually by submitting it to Apple.

Microsoft rolled out a preview version of xCloud for iOS earlier this year. For complying with the TestFlight rules of Apple, Microsoft has limited xCloud testing on iOS to only a single game, “Halo: The Master Chief Collection.”

Keeping the debate aside, if you have the subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate; you can now enjoy access to xCloud and over 100 games on day one. Make sure that your Android devices are charged to full on the 15th of September to enjoy the whole new gaming list.

Call of Duty: Warzone Brings Back Juggernaut Royale Mode and More

Call of Duty: Warzone is getting ready for its upcoming season. Infinity Ward has announced the return of a popular fan favourite mode to help players finish their final tasks of Season 4. In the recent announcement by Infinity Ward, they said that the gamers will soon be able to play the “Juggernaut Royale.” Previously in Call of Duty: Warzone only some lucky players could create havoc in the Juggernaut suit.

According to the Call of Duty announcement, the re-introduced Juggernaut armour will only be available for the current Season’s final weekend from July 31st to August 3rd. The announcement has been made for every player, and now squads will fight to access the Juggernaut suit and powerful minigun.

When a player is wearing the Juggernaut suit, the opponent can take the player down only through the free-fire launchers and LMGs. Infinity Ward teased the return of the “Blood Money Trios” model. Developers of Warzone promised to players that they will be allowed to battle for the exfil plane in the Battle Royale Solos, Duos, Trios and Quads.

Their weekly update on Twitter got a great response from the users, and Infinity Ward also addressed issues related to the “Mara Kawaii Cat” bundle that was previously promised for Season 4. Nevertheless, fans are quite happy after the announcement.

A majority of fans wanted to see the Juggernaut armour back in the game. Juggernaut armour is quite popular among the players. That’s the reason why Infinity Ward will be re-introducing it in the game after having removed it on July 7th. Along with the armour, some bonuses have been added for more entertainment.

Apart from the release of the new entertaining factor in the game, there are still some bugs that need to be resolved. However, even after encountering several bugs, players are not ready to stop playing the game because it’s the end of Season 4 and some cool rewards are on the way. Some players have earned all the rewards and experience from Season 4 Battle Pass.

Warzone is currently one of the highest-grossing Battle Royale games. Developers are continuously tracking the players and their requirements. Hopefully, the game bugs will be removed in the upcoming update. The excitement for season 5 is extremely high because Infinity Ward has announced some interesting surprises that are going to get revealed soon.
