Fan Art Achieves the Impossible with Avengers and Justice League Crossover in Rap Album Cover

Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) are two of the most prominent American Media franchises in the global cinematic world. They have built a stellar reputation with their fantasy and superhero scripts to entertain the audience. MCU’s Iron Man, Captain America, and DCEU’s Wonder woman, Superman has delighted fans of all ages. Till now, the two cinematic universes’ have never had a crossover.

However, an ardent movie fan has achieved the impossible in his fan art. His art showcases the two supervillains Thanos and Darkseid, from MCU and DCEU as rap gods in this Marvel/DC crossover. Both the villains have had numerous appearances in multiple comic books over the past couple of years
Snapokolips: A Rap Battle of Two Cosmic Beings
A brand-new piece of artwork by SPDRMNKYXXIII features the two villains. The fan art album cover shows Darkseid looking in a particular direction and Thanos sitting on speakers waiting to drop a beat. The artist has titled the album- Snapokolips. According to reports, the title has taken inspiration from Bad Meets Evil album- Hell: The Sequel. Not many people are aware, but the Snapokolips have been derived from Thanos’ snap and Darkseid’s home Apokolips.
The artwork can appeal as a humorous attempt to both MCU and DCEU fans. This might not answer the question of who is more powerful, but it will bring fans forward to debate who would win a rap battle between the two cosmic beings.
MCU’s Biggest and Baddest Supervillain
Thanos is a supervillain popping up in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The mad titan is the creation of Jim Starlin and debuted in The Invincible Iron Man#55 (1973). The Marvel Cinematic Universe took a decade to build up to Thanos’ story. He finally made a full-fledged appearance in Avengers: Infinity War on his quest across the universe in search of the cosmic Infinity Stones. The titan’s only goal was to wipe out half of the universe to maintain a balance. However, his story arc was completed in Avengers: Endgame, where he was snapped out of existence by Iron Man. This culminated in MCU’s Phase 1- Phase 2.
DCEU’S Most “Notorious” Villain
Darkseid is one of the most notorious villains. He was created by Jack Kirby and first made an appearance in Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen#134 in November 1970. The cosmic being made his official debut in Forever People#1 in February 1971. He is yet to appear in DC’s feature films. Darkseid was due to appear in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but his role was shelved once Snyder stepped down from the director’s position, and Joss Whedon took over.
