Twitter is one of the most popular and commonly used social networking platforms all over the globe. It has always provided the best experience to its users. It is a slightly different site as compared to other social networking services. Recently, this platform has added several new features to its service, providing more accessibility and flexibility to its users.

Sometimes, when you want to search for any tweets on a specific topic on your timeline, then it seems quite a hassle. For many users, finding a tweet with any particular topic is not that easy task and feels like a nightmare as we have to go through all the tweets from friends, celebrities, news sources, and everyone else that we follow on Twitter. Of course, we can use the functionality of the search option. But, what if we want to search specifically our Twitter timeline? How do we do that? Do you want to know?

There is a way through which anyone can find tweets in their timeline about a specific topic. If you want to know that way, I recommend you to go through the entire report.

The Ways to Search Your Twitter Timeline

Searching your Twitter Timeline is a straightforward process that includes some simple steps to follow. Going through the below-mentioned procedure, anyone can easily search for the tweets on a specific topic on their timeline. This way, you will see all the tweets and retweets from the people that you follow. Here’s how you can do it:

To search your timeline, you have to know what to put in the search bar. There is a code that you need to enter in the Twitter search bar, and that is “filter:follows filter:nativeretweets” along with your search term. Okay, now let’s have a look at the procedure in some more detail.

  • Open the Twitter app on your device and log into your account with your login credentials.
  • Now, go to the Search tab and type the code “filter:follows filter:nativeretweets” with the term for which you are going to search. And now, you will be provided with the tweets containing the term that you have searched for.

For instance, if you are going to search for the word Apple Watch in your timeline, then you will have to type, “filter:follows filter:nativeretweets Apple Watch”. This will display all the tweets and retweets on your screen.

Isn’t it an easy process to follow? Following this procedure will only take a few minutes and you can easily search for any specific topic in your Twitter Timeline.
