Niantic recently released Dragon Week in Pokémon Go. If players successfully unlock three weeks of the “Ultra Unlock 2020” bonus, they can see the increment of spawning Dragon-type Pokémon and special research tasks for next week. Some awards from the Ultra Unlock 2020 will be rewarded to the players for grouping and completing various challenges. However, in the second and third week, some “mysterious” and Unovan Pokémon will feature in the game.
Now in the event, players will have a full opportunity to capture great numbers of Dragon-type Pokémon. Apart from the Dragon-type spawns, “Rayquaza” will be available in 5-star raids.
The first section of “Ultra Unlock 2020 Timed Research” is separated into five different slots that will test the abilities of the player. The tasks will check abilities from capturing the Dragon-type Pokémon to throwing the ball. The tasks and their rewards are mentioned below:

1st Part
Task Rewards
- Power up Pokémon 5 times – 3 Super Potions
- Make 5 Nice Throws – 500 XP
- Catch 3 Dragon-type Pokémon – 5 Poke Balls
If you complete these tasks, you will get Dratini* Encounter, 500 Stardust, Silver Pinap Berry.
2nd Part
Task Rewards
- Evolve 3 Pokémon – 3 Revives
- Make 7 Great Throws – 500 XP
- Catch 5 Dragon-type Pokémon – 7 Poke Balls
If you complete the tasks, you will get Bagon* Encounter, 500 Stardust, Silver Pinap Berry.
3rd Part
Task Rewards
- Win a raid – Fast TM
- Make an Excellent Throw – 1,000 XP
- Catch 7 Dragon-type Pokémon – 5 Great Balls
If you complete these tasks, you will get Deino* Encounter, 1,000 Stardust, Silver Pinap Berry.
4th Part
Task Rewards
- Defeat 3 Team GO Rocket Grunts – Dragon Scale
- Make 3 Excellent Throws – 1,500 XP
- Catch 9 different species of Pokémon – 7 Great Balls
If you complete the tasks, you will get Alolan Exeggutor* Encounter, 1,000 Stardust, Silver Pinap Berry.
5th Part
- Claim Reward – 2,500 XP
- Claim Reward – 2,500 XP
- Claim Reward – 2,500 XP
After getting the rewards, you will also get Deino* Encounter, 1,000 Stardust, Silver Pinap Berry.
The above-mentioned tasks are not too difficult. The toughest task in the list is Excellent Throw, but it doesn’t require a curve process, so some players might finish it quite easily. Finding the Team Rocket grunts is also easy nowadays because now they appear in the air through the air balloon.
Before the 7 days end, players have to complete the first three “Ultra Unlock Timed Research” sets. Apart from the sets, Deino, Dratini, and more Dragon-type Pokémon will frequently appear nearby. To get full rewards, it is necessary to complete the Ultra Unlock Timed Research tasks.
Dragon-type Pokémon are the most stylish and powerful Pokémon in the game. Almost every player of Pokémon Go is participating in this event.
