According to some sources, Brian Tyree Henry is joining the action thriller Bullet Train alongside Brad Pitt.
Bullet Train is based on the novel Mariabeetle written by a Japanese author Kotaro Isaka. The story of the novel follows five assassins who are on the same train. The project already has a few great actors, including Aaron Taylor Johnson, Joey King, and Andrew Koji.
Recently, according to some sources, Deadline reveals that the team has not shared much about the plot and cast details. However, based on Henry’s past projects and his fantastic performance, it could be assumed that the casting team has something great for Henry.
Brian Tyree Henry is an American actor and is best known for his character as Alfred Miles, aka “Paper Boi” in a comedy series Atlanta on Walt Disney’s FX. The show has been running for thirteen years, whose first season was released in 2007. Henry also received a nomination for Primetime Emmy Award for the Outstanding Supporting Actor. He also featured as the lead characters in romantic drama If Beale Street Could Talk, heist film Widows, thriller movie Don’tLet Go, horror Child’s Play, and the superhero film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Henry is a brilliant actor whom you could see in various genres and also on stage. Some of his stage plays include The Book of Mormon, Romeo and Juliet, and The Fortress of Solitude. He is also a Tony Award-nominated for his Lobby Hero role for Best Featured Actor in a Play.
Brian Tyree Henry started his career with various musicals and plays and gained popularity from his FX TV series. Later he featured in the Oscar-winning psychological thriller Joker. Fans can see him in some big-budget upcoming commercial movies, including Godzilla vs. Kong, Superintelligence, and The Woman in the Window, along with legendary actors Gary Oldman and Amy Adams.
Director Leitch is a reputed filmmaker in Hollywood and known for his blockbuster unique superhero film, Deadpool 2, which is the sequel of the 2016 Deadpool movie. He also directed the spin-off of the Fast & Furious franchise.
Leitch started his directorial debut with the action film John Wick along with director Chad Stahelski. Leitch also served as a stunt double for Brad Pitt and Jean-Claude Van Damme. He and his team won awards at Screen Actors Guild Awards for The Bourne Ultimatum. The filmmaker also starred and wrote the parody action films Confessions of an Action Star.
Another big name, Brad Pitt, is signed up for the film. The actor has a huge fan base and received many awards, including Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and BAFTA Awards for his last Quentin Tarantino’s movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He is currently working for Damien Chazelle’s film Babylon along with Emma Stone.
