Windows 10 Store allows you to find and install different apps and games. Many users are unable to locate the Windows Store on Windows 10 PC. If you are also unable to find the Microsoft Store on your Windows 10 device, then check out the solutions mentioned below.
Update the Operating System of the PC to the Newest Build
- First, update the Windows of the PC to the newest build.
- Once the Windows device is updated, check whether you can find the MS Store or not.
Launch the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
- Press the Win + I combination over the keyboard to open the Settings.
- Then go to the Apps option and click on it.
- Once you see the Apps list, extend the MS Store, and select the Advanced Options.
- Now, hit the Terminate button.
- You should go to the Windows Settings Home screen and click on the ‘Update & Security’ option.
- Navigate to the left pane, pick the Troubleshoot option, and then choose the ‘Additional Troubleshooters’ option.
- Then extend the Windows Store Apps.
- You should select the ‘Run the Troubleshooter’ option,
- Finally, reboot the system and once it restarts, right-click on Start.
- Afterward, pick the ‘Windows PowerShell (Admin)’ option.
- Now, run this command : Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
- Lastly, restart the system.
Reset the MS Store via WSReset
- Press the Windows button to launch the Start menu on your system.
- Then insert ‘WSReset’ in it and select the Ok option to open it.
- Once you get it, right-click on it, then pick the ‘Run as Administrator’ option.
- You have to wait until the process is complete.
- Otherwise, remove the temporary files and run a disk cleanup of the PC.
Installing an App via the MS Store’s Web Version
- Launch any browser and visit the official MS Store site on your system.
- Afterward, choose any app and launch it.
- You should hit the button of Get. If you get the pop-up to launch the MS Store, select the ‘open Microsoft Store’ option.
Make a Fresh User Account
- First, make a fresh local user account, then restart the PC.
- Now, sign-in to the PC with a freshly made account and check whether the MS Store is available in the fresh account.
- Otherwise, from the freshly made account, reach the Windows icon and right-click on it.
- Then pick the ‘Windows PowerShell (Admin)’ option.
- Later, run these commands
- Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
- Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
- Finally, restart the PC and sign-in with a fresh account.
