Facing Problems With Android 10 and Curved Screen! Slack’s New App Has the Solution

The new Slack application will give a clear-cut view of the simple solutions of the problems regarding the screen and Android 10.

There is no secret that most individuals have a problem with gesture navigation of the Android 10, and it makes them frustrated. Especially, individuals are frustrated from the back gesture, and the curved edged design is exacerbating this issue. These all things make changes in the interface that slow down your phone dramatically.

Recently, Android 10 and curved screen users received a ray of hope when an application has announced the solution in the form of the update of their application. There is an application named slack, which has the worst experience with collaboration with the curved screen of the phones and some UI gestures. Now they redesigned their application that can address both the issue. It is a brilliant step that can change a lot of things for the developer, and they may need to study more regarding this issue.

Slack is like several applications that rely on the slide-in drawer for making some essential changes in the application. In this application, the slide-in drawer feature used to make changes between groups, threads, and messages. If you have enabled the Android 10 gestures, then your smartphone requires a precise or perfect angled edge to swipe or pull down the drawer to produce a back gesture. Before the application was frustrating to use because whenever you want to view something, you have to scroll vertically. That’s why you aren’t able to swipe that part horizontally from the side, which is one of the major issues with the application that can trigger a problem with the back gesture. If you want to access this feature with the application, you may need to hit a 45-degree angle, which is nearly impossible.

The application on the smartphones ended up being really frustrating to use. There is some sharply-curved and large-sized smartphone like OnePlus 8 Pro, in which it is impossible to use a single hand gesture to open the slide-in drawer. Previously, OnePlus users had to use their both hands to open the drawer by tapping on the corner and top of the left of the screen. And if you want to switch the channels in the application, then you will be going to feel extreme pain while switching the channels.

After the arrival of the all-new design or update of the Slack, the frustration of several individuals alleviated as the new update will work on the simplification of the application.

Now the organization has simplified the old version and converted a simple horizontal three-pane view. The primary and the first pane is a list of all the chats and the channels. On the left side of the interface, there is a different slack of the workspace, and on the right, you will find recent chats and channels. In the latest application, you just have to swipe on the middle, right, or left screen that can resist you never to use the edges and the angles vertically. So, the application allows you to switch the context without using any gesture that was a problem in most of the smartphones.

The working of this application is completely flawless, and other application developers need to work on their application. Even the developers of Android have the team to do a lot of work that can handle the problems related to the gestures.

The all-new slack application is free from overlapping and advanced learning curves. Now the application is so simple and elegant to work. The features included in the Slack application help in all sorts of messaging platforms that work on the vertically scrolling pane.

Of course, no one had thought about this type of solution to this issue. The slack is a great example that can figure out the problems and open the doors for other applications to develop these features as a solution. There are tons of issues that must be raised for those who use Android’s situation that can be managed easily by the application developers if they want.
